Kermode Main

Kermode Main

Kermode Main operates on a daily basis from the Kermode Friendship Society’s main building. Kermode Main provides a variety of office services, including helping with forms completion and employment applications. We as well provide a daily snack, which includes coffee. Coffee is available from 9-3:30. We can assist with faxing, photo copying, job search, resumes and cover letters. Reception is open 9-12, closed for lunch  12-1pm, and re-open 1-4PM

This local resource centre may be utilized by all members of the community Tuesday - Thursday; the staff  provide assistance with a variety of interactive workshops including Essential Skills Training, Employment Training.

Visit the Facebook page “Kermode Eagle Room” to keep updated on our daily activities. This project was designed to reach out to the local community so that supports are in place for those who are “at-risk” or homeless. Kermode recognizes that homelessness is a barrier to an individual’s success, and the workers are ready and willing to assist in supporting adults as well as their families who are motivated to work towards their own success.
