Kermode Driving School
Graduated Licensing Program (GLP) Course coming in May 2017
Pending ICBC approval of our pilot course to be completed by April 2017 we will be offering our first driving school starting May 2017:
- Class 7L( learners)- a combined 18 hours in- classroom and 35 hours in-vehicle instructor led time with a qualified ICBC accredited instructor to a cohort of 12 students
-Prerequisite is a learner’s license
- Over a 12 week period each participant will acquire the practical skills and after 18 months will be eligible to be tested to become a class 5 driver.
- If you are also in need of employment support we have a great employment preparation program.
The Kermode Driving School has been developed by First Nations for First Nations and is a step in the right direction towards meaningful employment and self-sufficiency. The Kermode Friendship Society has a long standing history of working together with the surrounding First Nations communities and has been a key player in the development and delivery of job readiness programs.

Introducing the Kermode Friendship Society Driving Program. Work with us to acheive your class 5 licnese with driving instructor Raven Dick. Course timeline is 3 hours per week for 12 weeks, Located in Terrace, BC.
Don't get stuck with a flat tire in the middle of nowhere! Our Driving Program includes lessons on how to change a flat tire, a handy skill to have when driving alone.
